Where Can I Send My Short Story to Try and Get It Published?

Question by anna w: Where can I send my short story to try and get it published?
I am looking for websites that will allow me to send a short story I’ve written.
I need websites that will possibly publish it.
Preferably websites that are free.
I am not looking to get a prize, just looking for the possibility of getting published either online or on paper.

The story is about a father-daughter relationship and drug abuse.
It’s about 900 words.

Any links or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
